✖️What diet is the best for fatloss✖️ ​ As a society, we are constantly searching for the "best trick", or "quick fix" for fatloss. With diets trends changing every month, and social celebs getting paid exorbitant amounts of money to push diets, pills, cleanses through their social media platforms, its hard for you to know whats right. ​ ​When it comes to diets, there is so much misinformation out there, i am going to try to keep it as simple as possible. ​ ​ ​Here's a few things we know: ​✔️ 1.6g per kg of bodyweight and above seems to be effective at maintaining lean mass, maintaining higher metabolic rate. ​✔️ Tracking calories works. Eating 10-20% below our maintenance calories will lead to a slow and steady fat loss. ​✔️ When dieting we want to aim to lose no more than 1% mass per week (play the long game) ​✔️ Adherence and consistency are key. ​ ​With that all said, what diet is truly the best? ​Keto, paleo, atkins, carnivore, IF, high carb? ​ ​We know that the reason people lose weight when following these diets, is because it puts them in a calorie deficit. There is no magic. ​ ​Honestly, if you can hit your protein targets, and eat below maintenance, then whichever diet you can adhere to consistently. ​ ​Yes we need discipline, but we don't need to restrict ourselves by completely cutting out food groups. Try to incorporate foods you enjoy, without over consuming calories. ​ ​Here's a few daily habits to ensure you get off to a good start: ​1- Plan & prep your meals. ​2- Weigh and measure. Recently ordered these awesome resistance bands from Amazon and I can't believe I didn't get them sooner. I have been trying very hard to level up on my chin-up/pull-up game and this is the perfect way for me to do it. The biggest benefit I find with these bands is that they help you with posture. If you don't have the right posture doing exersices you will likely injure yourself and not achieve you're targeted result. This leads to wasted time and a possible injury... Meal prep for 4 days done. Only 3 things are missing in the pic and those are vegies oats and eggwhites which im prepping on the day im eating them. Eating this way helped me to get much leaner in last 3 weeks without loosing power in the gym.
