Here’s a cool rowing variation you must try if you’re trying to grow your lats. . When you grip the handles, cross them over. This will tremendously increase the tension on the lats, since you’ll be able to get a nice stretch in the same direction as the lat muscle fibers. So the angle of pull will be a better one, as opposed to holding the handles like you normally would.. . Notice I go from a pronated grip to a supinated grip. . 3-4 sets, 10-12 reps. . Are you eating enough protein? . I was amazed how little protein I consumed until I started tracking macros. Protein is essential for numerous processes in the body like hormone production, enzyme production, improved immune system, and muscle and tissue repair. It can also be beneficial for weight loss for a couple reasons: helps with satiety, and causes a thermogenic effect where the body uses more energy to digest proteins. . Now the body isn't too picky about protein source, whether it's plant or muscle protein. Eating a variety of lean protein sources will ensure you get all essential amino acids. For muscle growth and repair a good rule of thumb is to consume your body weight in g. If you have a lot of body fat, you can decrease this by 20 g or more depending. . Try to include some form of protein at each meal and snack. This will help spread out protein intake, and help increase your overall daily intake. . If you still aren't eating enough protein with whole foods, supplementing is a great way to add another 20 to 30 g of protein. Quick yet effective!⁣ ⁣ Here is the 21-15-9 workout I did the other day. It left me feeling a little underwhelmed afterward but like a ninja in the night it pulled a fast one on me and I felt it the next day! 🥴⁣ ⁣ Do 21 reps of each move and then start over at the top and do 15 reps of each move, then complete 9 reps. ⁣ ⁣ 1️⃣Air Squats⁣ 2️⃣Push-ups⁣ 3️⃣Alternating Lunges⁣ 4️⃣BB Overhead Press⁣ 5️⃣Leg Lifts⁣ 6️⃣KB Deadlifts⁣ ⁣ I love changing up workouts and trying new things.
